The Orlando Halal Burger scene Guru’s Top 5: Best Halal Burgers in Orlando has evolved over time.  Burgers are a classic anchor for any fast-food joint. It is universally accepted as the flagship menu item of the shop. All other menu items are a supporting cast to the Burger.  Its popularity in American dining culture stems from its affordability and the fact it is easy to eat. You can hold your meal in your hands (It is sunnah to eat with your hands)  and take a bite without the need for utensils or even a table in some cases if you are on the go. You can eat it anywhere, anytime.

An extensive review of O’Town Burger N Wings on the site was done back in 2017 when I first launched the blog. Much has changed since then, so I thought an update was warranted. But rather than do a write up, I thought a video review would be in order. The Food

When they opened their doors in 2016, news spread quickly across the town of a new Halal Burger Spot. It was more than just hype. They elevated the ubiquitous burger into a fancy artisan masterpiece. They made fresh to order open flame grill Angus beef burgers that were juicy and left you craving more. The menu has evolved over time since their opening, but it has only gotten better. Beyond just the original cheeseburger the menu has several customized burgers that you can choose from based on your mood.  If you want heat, ask for their jalapeño burger. If you want more meat, ask for their double cheeseburger or gyro burger. If you want a burger with Mexican  flare, they have options for that too!

Of course, O’Town is more than BURGERS.

It’s also WINGS. I would argue they have the best Halal wings and sauces in Orlando too. Many on google and yelp would agree with me. The boned wings are crispy on the outside and soft and tender on the inside. There are so many sauces to try as well. If you like it hot, tangy, creamy or sweet, O’Town has a sauce for you.

The Service

Their service continues to be top notch. Marco is my main contact there, he is always there manning the front counter or the grill. He oversees the process from start to finish to ensure each burger is cooked to perfection. His passion for pleasing customers with delicious food is unparalleled in any halal restaurant in the area.

The Area

O’Town continues to be located in the MetroWest area. It is in the same plaza where it originally opened. There is plenty of free parking. While the pandemic has changed how we dine, O’town does have indoor dining for parties of 4-6. Most orders these days are takeout or through delivery apps which they cater too.

The Verdict

O’Town continues to be my favorite Halal burger spot in Orlando. This spot, as I predicted in my Zabihah.com review back in 2016 (before I launched the Halal Food Guru Blog would be my go to Halal Burger Spot. That has not changed since. I post frequently for them on my Instagram feed given that I eat there so much.
