Florida Mall is the largest indoor mall in Orlando and third largest mall in Florida drawing in around 20 million shoppers annually. With over 300 retailers, it is easy to spend a lot of time and money there and with over 1.7 million square feet of retail space, you’re sure to build up an appetite. While there are no Halal restaurants in the mall itself, not to worry, there are several nearby. I made this list for you, so you can find some of the closest Halal restaurants around Florida Mall. There are several, but I’ve selected those that are closest in proximity and also have more mass appeal. If you are looking for specific meal options, be sure to visit my other TOP 5 lists on the site.

Chaat House

This restaurant, located in the Apna Bazaar Plaza has been a popular destination for locals and visitors alike for many years. While their Indian dishes are amongst their most popular, they have an expansive menu covering Indo-Chinese, Middle-Eastern and American dishes, so there is something for everyone. The food is consistently good, but there are no spectacular must-have dishes on the menu. They offer tandoori Pizza which is an interesting fusion dish. However, you cannot leave without trying their Indian sweets which are made in-house. There is ample dining space for large groups and plenty of free parking.

Istanbul Grill

This Turkish restaurant is also located in the Apna Bazaar Plaza. It provides a formal and beautiful atmosphere for dining in. The menu presents a focused interpretation of urban Turkish cuisine for diners to select from. They are highly reviewed on many review sites for the food and service. It is definitely something to look at if you want to try something different and new. For more classical Turkish Cuisine, like gyro and kaftas, I would recommend Cappadocia, which is on the East side of the city. This Turkish restaurant is also located in the Apna Bazaar Plaza. Apna Bazaar Food Court

In the Apna Bazaar plaza there is a banquet hall and food court with several smaller vendors. In the food court are North African and Desi vendors serving up daily deals. They all share the same seating area. There is also an paan shop for those looking for some after meal indulgence.

Melt’d Subs

Using the Subway model they offer Halal sandwiches, salads and rice bowls that are made to order based on your preferences. All their fresh ingredients are on display for you to pick from. The spot is located in a large shopping complex with Walmart as an anchor store. The 7-11 Gas station is the landmark to pick if you are having trouble finding it. The hours of operation cater mostly to the office lunch and early dinner crowd, so if you are looking for late night eats, check out our list of TOP 5 List of Late Night Eats in Orlando.

Charcoal Zyka.

They have been a popular destination for locals and visitors alike. Their menu is split between traditional Indian dishes and American BBQ. So there is something for everyone and can make for some interesting meal outcomes. The food and service are consistently good. Orlando recently had their first Burger Week and they were the only Halal Burger Spot participating offering their hot Inferno Burger up for the masses. My recommendation is the Portuguese Grilled Chicken, one of their most popular items.
