Quickie’s Burger and Wings is located in Hollywood, Florida (about halfway between Fort Lauderdale and Miami). It is a fast-food restaurant with a drive-thru setup very similarly to typical American fast-food spots like McDonalds and Burger King.

The menu consists of typical American classics like burgers and wings. Their main draw is the Halal chargrilled burger. They state it is made in house and never frozen.
You can order the standard cheeseburger or be more adventurous and order more elaborate formats like the Treatsters burger which includes cheddar cheese, Halal beef bacon and caramelized onions.
If you are really hungry and up to the challenge they have the MOAB (Mother of All Burgers), a 1lb beef patty, topped with Halal crispy bacon and cheese. Be sure to pick up some Tums from the local pharmacy for the ride home.

Also on the menu is a large selection of fish and shrimp items which are mostly fried items. They also as the name implies offer a selection of wings, chicken nuggets and tenders.
SERVICE
The restaurant is set up as the typical American fast-food restaurant, so service interactions are minimal. The cashier at the counter places your order and calls you up when it’s ready.
It’s always good to verify your order before leaving, especially if you’ve made any special requests for your meal.
Fried Chicken Wings with Hot Sauce from Quickie’s Burger and Wings
LOCATION
Located off a major roadway, it is easy enough to get to. It is very close to the Florida Turnpike which is convenient. The neighborhood doesn’t scream safe and family friendly, but if you’re doing a quick run through the drive-thru, you can be in and out of the area quickly enough, enjoying your meal in the comfort of your home, hotel or car seat.
If you’re dining in, the restaurant is set up as a typical fast-food joint. The large counter to order is the first thing you see when you enter and the seating is off to the side.
They have tables and plastic booths for parties between 2 and 6 in the dining area with a blue and orange colour theme (Coincidence that it is the same as the Florida Gators colours?). The cleanliness of the dining area and bathroom are basic.

The major driving force for eating here is the affordability. You get large portions for the price, thus increasing the value.
OVERALL
Quickie’s Burger and Wings offers a Halal fast-food option for classical American comfort foods. While the food is good and the service is fast, the quality of customer service and attention to detail has room for improvement. It is always best to check your order for accuracy. The late night hours and drive thru are nice features.
